High Risk Jurisdictions

High-Risk-Jurisdiction exposure measures how much of an entity's footprint — where it is registered and operates, the corridors it trades, who owns it, who it deals with — touches sanctioned, embargoed or high-risk jurisdictions. Here the jurisdiction is not an aggravating detail behind another finding; it *is* the finding.

Accordingly the jurisdiction-footprint component carries the largest weight. An entity concentrated across sanctioned and high-risk jurisdictions is exposed even where no single transaction is independently remarkable.

Investigation actions

  1. Resolve the entity, owner and counterparty.
  2. Classify each footprint jurisdiction as sanctioned / high-risk; count each.
  3. Grade the jurisdiction footprint from those counts.
  4. Score trade exposure (sanctioned trade / high-risk corridor).
  5. Score the ownership link and counterparty exposure.
  6. Aggregate; escalate at or above the threshold.

Detection logic
